Neighborhood Projects

The Near Northwest is a neighborhood making things happen! The imagination, perseverance and hard work of residents and the Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc. (NNN) have contributed to the preservation & rehabilitation of housing in addition to making life safer and more enjoyable.

We are fortunate to have engaged residents that are involved in the neighborhood and neighbors. Much of this happens because neighbors are involved and enabled. From getting gentle speed control devices on our streets, to connecting neighbors to resources during Covid 19, to interacting with and influencing city and county entities, NNN neighbors are on the front lines of activity. In addition, the NNN’s dedication continues to positively impact the neighborhood.
